Just a few more things you may remember seeing or doing.

ITrivia question: Why did the popularity of the Beatles decline with many people in the U.S. during 1966? Hint: Lennon made a reckless statement. During that time, “America launched a massive burn your Beatle albums campaign that seriously tarnished their name and reputation.”
"1966 was the year where costumed bands were starting to emerge. Acts like Paul Revere and the Raiders and Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs were completely cool.”

Remember these?
" Number please."

How did we ever sleep at night with these types of curlers in our hair?

For you car buffs.

You can see the above and below beauties at the Russell J. Rassbach Heritage Museum in Menomonie.

"Cars in the exhibit, The Golden Era of American Auto Design: the Doane Collection, are from the private colletion of Dunn County agribusiness leader Russell Doane. The oldest car in the collection is also the rarest: a 1942 Buick convertible, one of only two believed remaining in the world. The other cars span the 1940's and 1950's, ending with two 1960 models. Mr. Doane selected the cars in the collection because he believes they represent the golden era of the automotive industry in America."
There are several cars at the Russell J Rassbach Heritage Museum, but if you want to see more of his collection, email Cory at: corylynn92@gmail.com, and a tour can be set up at Mr. Russell's home.

Wayne May sent 10 of the following 16 photos for us to view. Some of them are a little difficult to tell who are in them, but try to guess. It might be easy if you were in them, or were the person taking the photos. Have fun!
Although the contest would have been fun, we didn't end up having it because it wasn't announced, therefore most classmates didn't know it was there. We were all so caught up with visiting, it wasn't missed, which was a big complement to our reunion committee. I'll get in touch with Wayne to fill in the rest of the names below.
F.R.- Al B., Jay, Wayne M. - Mid. R. - Billy O., Randy M. - B.R. - David O., David A., DuWayne G. - rest were Jay's brothers.

This photo is precious and it's fairly easy to guess who are in it. Aren't they cute?
